Recall of Hager JK distribution boards

The following notice has been issued by the retailer:

Recall of Hager JK distribution boards manufactured and dated between Wednesday the 25th of March 2015 and Wednesday the 1st of April 2015

Within our Quality policy for continuous improvement, we have detected a risk of a potential issue on some Hager JK distribution boards manufactured between Wednesday the 25th March 2015 and Wednesday the 1st April 2015.

Note: This may not affect your stock but as the potential issue may compromise the integrity of the bus bar in certain circumstances, we have contacted all stockists who have received stock during the dates product was manufactured above. Please see the steps featured below that the stockists identified will be taking.

Check current stock for any identified products on the attached return form, manufactured between 25th March 2015 and 1st April 2015, and remove all non-conforming items from sale.

If some product identified within the date range has been sold, we have asked to complete the section on the return form identifying all the installers to whom you have sold these references so we can arrange free of charge replacement.

PLEASE CHECK THIS NUMBER: The dates on the label of products affected are between 150325 (25th March 2015) and 150401 (1st April 2015)

We have asked to fax or scan/email the form back to us immediately on the Hager faxline: 01952 675645 or email: sales@hager.co.uk. Returning the form no later than Friday the 10th of April.

Upon receipt, we shall then send free of charge replacement products to stockists (we have asked not raise a debit note for these products). We have asked to attach a copy of the return form to the returned product that will be collect by us.

On receipt of the information we will contact the installers directly and arrange for the items to be replaced.
