Quorn Chef’s Selection Meat Free Beef Steaks recall

Quorn has recalled two batches of its Chef’s Selection Meat Free Beef Steaks because the wrong product has been packaged. The presence of wheat (gluten), barley (gluten) and milk is therefore not mentioned on the label. This makes the product a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat gluten, barley gluten and milk.

Advice to consumers: If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to any of the above allergens, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where you bought it for a full refund.

Action taken by the company: The company has recalled the product from its customers and point-of-sale notices were sent to be displayed in stores where the affected product was sold.
