Recall: Lytham Foods Chicken Tikka Sandwiches

As a precautionary measure, Lytham Foods is recalling  due to the possible presence of Salmonella in the tikka powder ingredient used to manufacture this product. The supplier of the tikka powder, Catermix, has also manufactured this ingredient in unhygienic conditions and failed to comply with the food hygiene regulations.

PRODUCT DETAILS:

Product: Taylors of Lytham Chicken Tikka Sandwiches
‘Use by’ dates: All date codes up to and including 18 February 2016

No other varieties are affected.

RISK:

The potential presence of Salmonella in the products listed below. Salmonella is a bacterium that can cause food poisoning.

ADVICE TO CONSUMERS:

If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
