Recall: TRS Jeera (Cumin) Powder and TRS Chilli Powder (Extra Hot)

The following is an updated notice issued by the Food Standards Agency:

TRS Wholesale Company Ltd is also recalling its Ground Cumin (Jeera) Powder and Chilli Powder (Extra Hot) because salmonella has been detected in the products.

TRS Ground Cumin (Jeera) Powder
Pack size:  100g
Batch no: P200116
‘Best before’ date: 30 June 2017

TRS Chilli Powder (Extra Hot)
Pack size:  400g
Batch no: P160303
‘Best before’ date: 31 March 2018

TRS Wholesale Company Ltd is recalling the above products. The company will be displaying point-of-sale notices in all stores. These notices will tell consumers why the products are being recalled and will tell them what to do if they have bought the products.

No other TRS Wholesale Company Ltd products are known to be affected.

If you have bought any of the above products, do not consume it. Instead, return it to the store where it was bought from for a full refund.
