Costco Wholesale recalls its Organic by Nature Organic Vegetable Medley due to possible listeria contamination

Costco Wholesale has recalled its Organic by Nature Organic Vegetable Medley as a precautionary measure due to possible listeria contamination. Listeria is a food bacterium that can cause food poisoning.
Risk: The product may have been contaminated by listeria and be a possible risk to health.

Brand name: Organic by Nature
Product: Vegetable Medley
Pack size: 2.5kg
‘Best before’ date: 7 February 2017
Action taken by the company:
Costco Wholesale, the company which sells this product, has recalled the affected batch as a precautionary measure and has sent the letter below to all its member customers who have bought the product, explaining why the product has been recalled and the actions members or ‘add-on members’ can take if they have bought the affected product. A copy of the company’s letter can be found at the link below. No other Costco Wholesale products are known to be affected.
Advice to consumers: If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, dispose of the product and Costco Warehouse will provide a refund on your next visit.
