Next recalls Ted Baker Jelly Shoes (158496) due to potential issue with rivet attachment

Unfortunately, it’s come to light that there’s a potential problem with the rivet attachment for the bow on the above shoe, which may become detached during wear.

As the jelly shoes don’t meet our strict, technical specifications, we’ve taken the decision of recalling them, and are requesting that you return the shoes to us for a full refund.

Recall: Nikon D750 digital SLR camera

The following notice has been issued by the manufacturer:

In July of 2015 and with an additional notice in February of 2016 we have announced that the shutter in some Nikon D750 digital SLR cameras manufactured between October of 2014 and June of 2015 does not function normally, sometimes resulting in shading of a portion of images. Since that time, further examination of the issue has clarified the fact that the same issue may occur with D750 cameras manufactured from July through September, 2014 and from July, 2015 through September, 2016.

Therefore, any D750 manufactured from July, 2014 through September, 2016 is eligible for inspection and repair of its shutter. Please direct inquiries regarding this issue to your nearest Nikon service center.

Identifying affected products
To check whether or not your camera is one of those affected by this issue, click Affected Product Serial Numbers below and enter your D750 serial number as instructed. Your camera’s serial number will be checked against those of applicable products. If your camera is one of those affected, instructions for requesting repairs will be displayed. If your camera is not affected by this issue, rest assured that repairs to your camera are not necessary and you may continue using your camera without concern for this issue.

It has come to our attention that the footwear product detailed above does not meet the Primark usual high standards for chemical compliance. We have found levels of a restricted substance in the product in excess of the 1.0 mg/kg requirement.

With the safety of our customers and respect for the environment at the forefront of our minds we have taken the decision to recall this product and are therefore inviting you to return this item for a full refund.

The product was on sale in our stores from the 4th January 2017 to the 2nd June 2017.

If you have purchased this product then please return it to any Primark store where you will be offered a full refund. You will not be required to provide proof of purchase.

Manufacturing controls that could potentially affect the safety of the products could not be demonstrated satisfactorily by the manufacturer.

The issue relates to controlling factors to prevent the growth and toxin production of Clostridium botulinum. Botulinum toxin may cause a serious form of food poisoning called botulism and can be fatal.  A recall from customers is being carried out as a precautionary measure.
